Root canal is cheaper in Riyadh if will consider only the minimum payment less insurance coverage. Most medical outreach progam held in Casiguran were dental services. Statistics presented were mostly numbers of tooth extracted and while it removed the pains from toothaches, gone with it also were beautiful Casiguranin smiles. Tooth extraction should be the last resort and most dentist would advice keeping the original tooth as much as possible. Dental care, of course, will avoid above medications. There are many Casiguran dentists that sure can offer their free services when needed which can be included in the Morey 2009 program. But insted of counting number tooth extracted, we should save casiguranin smiles by tooth-filling and/or root canal.

May 26 - Nagketa-keta de Senan, Roger at Nori sa Batha Riyadh tapos inumangay sa Khurais. Napaggoronan ang pa-computer sa mga elementary school, relief goods at Morey 2009. 1. Duwa (2) taon ang termino ng mga opisyal. Eleksyon twing ikaduwa taon (2004, 2006, 2008, 2010, 2012..)
2. Denan ng computer ang mga iskul sa liblib na lugar sapul sa Calabgan, Bianuan, Dibet, Dibacong, Tinib-Calangcuasan. Natanggap na ang ated sa Calabgan at Bianuan. Sunud na patawed ay sa Dibet at Dibacong, baka sakali mabetbet na ni Jimmy (Basco) sa Pebrero.
3. MOREY 2009.
3.1 Magpalabas ang grupo ng CDC-ME sa mismong Morey. Pinaggoronan ang palabas na magpaketa ng kultura ng Ditengang Silangan na salihan mismo ng mga nagpag-uleang nagkorkor sa Saudi.
3.2 Kanya-kanyang baon na pangasiwaan ng bawat myembro ang preparasyon at betbet na mangiyel ng bawat angkan. Maghanda rin ang CDC-ME para sa pang-atanan na damakan.
3.3 Mangated ng hiwalay na kontribusyon para sa pondong magamit sa Morey 2009.
3.4 Magpalabas na salihan ng kabataan (Quiz Bee) pati na rin para sa lalakay ati babakes.
3.5 Yung magpag-gebwat ng Maynila at representante ng CDC sa bawat bansa ay mainam na maggoron muna sa Maynila bago sabay na rumektat pa-Casiguran.
3.6 Pagplanoan ang pagpatukoy sa kababayan ati mga kamag-anak ng planong Morey 2009.
3.7 Ang Morey ay esklusibong proyekto ng CDC at hindi ipaki-agum sa ibang selebrasyon ng pribado o publiko na patungkol sa 400th Centennial ng Casiguran.
3. Pinaggoronan ang Financial Statement. Ang mapurong butaw ay ipage-computer agad.
4. Nangitagtag ng direktoryo ng mga myembro para alistung magkadulawan. Magsulat rin ang bawat esa ng turungku at suhestyon.
5. Balak magpalimbag ng BANDILYO- Middle East Edition.
6. Itulos ang 'Relief Goods Operation'. Sapulan ng magpuron ng meated sa panga-telong pagpatawed.
7. Sinuleg ang mga nagamet sa 2005
7.1 pa-computer sa Calabgan at Bianuan

Kaguman sa ipatawed ay pangaduwang 'relief goods project' na pinurong abubot ng mga Agta. Sapul lang ito ng pangarap na madenan ng tig-esang computer, maski luma, ang mga pagiskulan monda di medimodyan ang sangkaanakan sa teknolohiya at modernong komunikasyon at maging dalan sa paghubog ng mga pasibul na pag-asa ng Casiguran. Except for the last two, Saudi life is almost like it, except real, more challenging and difficult. In Saudi, its really "back to basics", you have to do your own chores, 15 years ago for the first expats, there was no cellphone, not even a television (Ask Bernard and Senan!). Except for airmail letters, Saudi boys then were completely cut-off from family. Of course, we now have the modern means of communication but that could not make up for the "homesickness". No cinemas, beerhouse and if you are a bachelor, you're not supposed to mingle in public with women. (Of course, there are always exception to the rules and depends on how creative one can be :-)). You have to withstand extreme weather conditions at 16 to 43 degree celcius. You also come to live and work with complete strangers, not only for 100 but 730 days straight! To be one of the reality TV show finalist is a treat! Walang binesa! The winner will be given a million pesos, you come to live with 5 sexy, liberated, 'game' ladies who have to undress within your sight. They have a swimming pool, all basic needs supplied, and all they do is gossip, pass time and play games. Except for a chance to "boso", will it click to Pinoy and TFC audience?

Had medical check-up lately. Below are prescription drugs for sinusitis and throat dryness due to hot weather (43+ deg. celc). In Saudi, one has to have more water intake than usual.

Doctors here seems to prescribe more than ordinary and pharmacist gives out medicines by boxes more than you'll need. Walang tingi. And for some dental treatment had to take this.

Madidebaw lang kaligayahan ng nasa Saudi o ibang bansa. Makatanggap lang ng "text" ay sobrang tuwa na. "Txt" laang ang magtongko sa magdalipot na diget para maibut ang amwaw. Nasa dideba ay esa sa mga pagtawagan dito ng long distance gamit ang VOIP - Voice over Internet Protocol. Walang pinag-iba sa naka-Yahoo messenger ka na nag-voice chat. Medyo makatipid rito ng singkwenta porsyento kumpara sa regular na landline o sa payphone na dulaw de ay "cabin".

Bernard Santorce called to check on plans and updates. Dammam meeting is set on mid-September after Bernard and Senan's cars have been reconditioned. Senan Angara and Francis met at the latter's ALJ office in Olaya, Riyadh. Recent CDC mailist topics and next CDCME meeting were discussed. Afterwards, they proceeeded to Francis and Bonie's apartment for coffee break. Then went to Riyadh Green Golf Driving range at 8:00 to 10:00 p.m. The computers will be picked-up for re-formatting on Friday (7:00 a.m.)

fllor. Ng nakapasok na siya sa bahay, sinabihan siya ng isang
katutubo na tumabi sa kasama nilang babae, at nagulat siya ng kunan
siya na katabi ang babae ng cell phone camera. Wala siyang
nagawa kundi sumunod sa kanila dahil dilang may patalim at mga ito,
kundi malalaki pa ang katawan na maitim. Tinuro ng isa ang
isang kuarto duon sa bahay at pinipilit siyang makipag sex sa babae
at kukunan daw nila ng Video, hindi siya pumayag, ang sabi ng
kaibigan ko ay patayin na lang siya kesa gawin iyon. Isa lang
daw ang naiisip niya na gagawing black mail sa kanya iyon, para
isumbong siya sa compania niya na meron siyang babae na katutubo
kasi mismo lahat ng ID, iqama at mga papeles niya sa pitaka ay nakunan
lahat ng camera, kinuha na rin mismo ng laman ng kanyang wallet na
mahigit 1000 riyals. Ng medyo may dumadating sa may hagdanan na papasok sa
bahay, medyo napukaw at nagmamadali silang umalis pero, bago iyon
nagbangit ang isa na babalik sila na hihingi ng pera buwan buwan kung hindi
makakarating ang video at pictures sa Pulis at Compania ng pinagtatrabahuhan
niya.

Kaya nga mga kababayan kung meron kayong naranasan

Francisco Monreal Torre works at ALJ, a partner of Toyota in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Francis presently lives in his own apartment at Al Morooj district, a few blocks away from his office. Above is the entrance to their office along Olaya Road (Riyadh's equivalent of Ayala Avenue in Makati). Francis is very active member and supportive of CDCME efforts in Riyadh and will donate some of his unused items in the next CDCME outreach program. Francis is from Barangay 7 in Casiguran and graduated from Mount Carmel in 1982.

In neighboring Saudi Arabia, a nongovernmental human rights watchdog, the National Human Rights Association, says that it has received about 2,000 complaints of abuse since it was established last year.

The State Department, in its annual trafficking report, says, "Saudi Arabia is a destination for men and women from South and East Asia and East Africa trafficked for the purpose of labor exploitation, and for children from Yemen, Afghanistan, and Africa trafficking for forced begging." Dinner at Bernard's Flat. General Membership Meeting was set on July 21. Agenda was discussed. Members were called to notify of the meeting. Ruth Tan offered to host the next meeting at their residence. CDC to buy one computer to be donated to Casiguran school.

At the onset, CDC has been challenged (April 2001) to come-up with a tangible physical project to manifest it's existence. "Hanggang san kayo?". However, CDC felt that helping shape Casiguranin collective consciousness through Bandilyo, though cannot be seen, has far more relevant and broader benefits compared with physical facilities improvements such as a waiting shed, street marker, grotto or basketball court. CDC is not interested in trivial and one-time shot projects. CDC's own challenge is for the present generation to provide an answer instead of a question or continue to wonder and despair over the old saying, "matanda na tum bayan tam...". Our mother town have had many successful children in different fields, but sadly , the town's socio-economic condition is not reflective of the affluence and success of it's children. CDC's challenge (October 2001) to the present generation - "Where are our mother town's sons and daughters to offer their talents back to their hometown?". As birthplace, Casiguran is MOTHER (town) to us, "Inang Bayan". After finding success elsewhere, how could anyone just leave and forget one's "mother" and "roots"?" "Agta Ako!" embodies the aspirations of a concerned Casiguranin. It is a positive statement of who we are and what we want to be.

For its part, CDC plans to put-up a Center to house several facilities that will provide venue for Casiguranin youth's character formation and hone their talents. Livelihood training programs, and the like, may also be conducted. It will put-up intra-sectoral research institution to conduct research and provide directions towards Casiguran development. The center will be funded at first to eventually become self-sustainable institution to ensure it's continuance.
Each CDC country chapter is independent yet united under the umbrella organization towards a common vision. Each chapter is like a martial arts club (Dojo) that independently maintains its club and affiliate to the Foundation (Main Headquarter) to ascribe to the same ethical values. CDC is a socio-civic organization of Casiguranin that wishes to "payback" (or "pay forward" the younger generation) or "uplift" the condition or welfare of their "home"-town or "mother"-town as one Agta family. Morey and Casiguran mailist is a venue for Casiguranins to interact, network, discuss, brainstorm, socialize and have fun at the same time. CDC is not a yearly event but a continuing experience through asynchronous email communication. The organizational set-up is fluid and free-flowing. "Walang Nedamo, Walang Nedimodyan". Where one idea could be shared by one or two which in-coming members could support because it has been their idea too for a long time. Nobody originally owns the idea but every new supporter is a partaker, a stakeholder of that dream. Morey means "Samleya", CDC being an incubator of ideas. Every new member is a convert. Morey is a venue to gather Agtas who share the same vision and on their individual or cooperative effort help find ways to realize them. "Maki-bareta, Maki-morey, Maki-uron"

According to Senan, CDC vision is like an Insurance Policy. It is a promise and a guarantee which you cannot claim for now but ensure a benefit at maturity date. CDC vision is simple, in fact very obvious, achievable and tangible yet like an education which takes a learning process needs investment that secures a better future which cannot be taken away from us.
