Saudi Golf

Saudi Labor
Got this from the Internet. In stark contrast with the Philippines, nationals here are paid more than expatriates. English proficiency is not an advantage. If you used to work for a call center and wish to apply here, speak Arabic!

Saudi Big Brother
Below are PBB Challenge:
- The lifestyle in the house is back to basics.
- Housemates will have no information about or from the outside world.
- Housemates will be cut-off completely from friends, families and loved ones.
- Complete strangers come together to live as Housemates and to create a unique family unit.
- The nomination process evicts people from the house.
- Everything that happens in the house and garden is filmed. This is 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Except for the last two, Saudi life is almost like it, except real, more challenging and difficult. In Saudi, its really "back to basics", you have to do your own chores, 15 years ago for the first expats, there was no cellphone, not even a television (Ask Bernard and Senan!). Except for airmail letters, Saudi boys then were completely cut-off from family. Of course, we now have the modern means of communication but that could not make up for the "homesickness". No cinemas, beerhouse and if you are a bachelor, you're not supposed to mingle in public with women. (Of course, there are always exception to the rules and depends on how creative one can be :-)). You have to withstand extreme weather conditions at 16 to 43 degree celcius. You also come to live and work with complete strangers, not only for 100 but 730 days straight! To be one of the reality TV show finalist is a treat! Walang binesa! The winner will be given a million pesos, you come to live with 5 sexy, liberated, 'game' ladies who have to undress within your sight. They have a swimming pool, all basic needs supplied, and all they do is gossip, pass time and play games. Except for a chance to "boso", will it click to Pinoy and TFC audience?

Computer Donation
Xenos invited Agtas in Saudi for Diving Lesson in Jeddah this September 28. Senan picked-up two CPU (computers) from Francis yesterday afternoon, August 21, to be donated to remote schools in Casiguran. Plans to donate satellite disks and VHS player with TV (for educational materials) was also discussed.

Landmark
Al Faisaliah Tower is the first skyscraper in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, followed by Kingdom Tower on the same street along King Fahad or Olaya Avenue. Kingdom Tower was once considered one of the ten world's most beautiful buildings. King Fahad and Olaya are parallel roads adjacent to each other. On these business district that Bonnie Torre (TFC) , Francis Torre (ALJ), Senan Angara (Dallah) and Xenos Angara-Caruz' (STC) respective offices are located. The design of Al Faisaliah Tower is inspired by the Islamic pointed arc. Within Riyadh, these two towers are prominent and since there are no other competing high-rise building, is a good landmark and point of reference when you lost your way in the city. These photos were taken from different directions on my way to Olaya Avenue where Al Faisaliah Tower can be seen. It is like seeing Ermita Hill from Minanga, Dilod, Dipagbato and other areas in Casiguran.

Battle of the Bands 2009
Senan Angara already contacted one Pinoy Band based in Saudi to perform FREE in "Morey Night" celebration in 2009. This band in addition to his brother Rene's Casiguranin band are among the attractions in Morey 2009. Long term plans like connecting residents of Casiguran with expatriates and accessibility to sattelite communications (satdisk cheaper in Saudi) was also discussed. Allan Villar and Senan Angara are both Electronics Communications Engineering (ECE) graduate whose experience and talents can help achieve this vision.

Saudi Pharmacy
Had medical check-up lately. Below are prescription drugs for sinusitis and throat dryness due to hot weather (43+ deg. celc). In Saudi, one has to have more water intake than usual.
Doctors here seems to prescribe more than ordinary and pharmacist gives out medicines by boxes more than you'll need. Walang tingi. And for some dental treatment had to take this.

San itu alap? Quiapo? Tama, Quiapo sa Riyadh Saudi Arabia. Ang Batha District ay kumen na Chinatown ng mga Pinoy. Ang dulawan dito ay "kabayan". Dito ang tambayan ng mga Pinoy twing Huwebes at Biyarnis - pinaka-Sabado at Linggo de. Maraming pagkakanan ng luto sa kotam. August 9 Meeting
Bernard Santorce called to check on plans and updates. Dammam meeting is set on mid-September after Bernard and Senan's cars have been reconditioned. Senan Angara and Francis met at the latter's ALJ office in Olaya, Riyadh. Recent CDC mailist topics and next CDCME meeting were discussed. Afterwards, they proceeeded to Francis and Bonie's apartment for coffee break. Then went to Riyadh Green Golf Driving range at 8:00 to 10:00 p.m. The computers will be picked-up for re-formatting on Friday (7:00 a.m.)

CDC-ME will donate computers to Barrio Schools
CDC-ME will donate computers to barrio schools. Francisco Monreal Torre pledged to donate two (2) used Pentium-3 personal computers (to be re-formatted before shipping). He will also donate his used items in the next CDCME Outreach Program. Computerization program is one of CDC-ME's program of action for this year under Mr. Senan Angara's leadership. CDC-ME members also plans to schedule their yearly vacations in 2009 to participate in CDC Morey.

babae arabyana ang humarang sa kanya at tinutukan siya ng patalim sa
likod, at pinasunod mismo siya sa kangyang bahay sa itaas 2nd
fllor. Ng nakapasok na siya sa bahay, sinabihan siya ng isang
katutubo na tumabi sa kasama nilang babae, at nagulat siya ng kunan
siya na katabi ang babae ng cell phone camera. Wala siyang
nagawa kundi sumunod sa kanila dahil dilang may patalim at mga ito,
kundi malalaki pa ang katawan na maitim. Tinuro ng isa ang
isang kuarto duon sa bahay at pinipilit siyang makipag sex sa babae
at kukunan daw nila ng Video, hindi siya pumayag, ang sabi ng
kaibigan ko ay patayin na lang siya kesa gawin iyon. Isa lang
daw ang naiisip niya na gagawing black mail sa kanya iyon, para
isumbong siya sa compania niya na meron siyang babae na katutubo
kasi mismo lahat ng ID, iqama at mga papeles niya sa pitaka ay nakunan
lahat ng camera, kinuha na rin mismo ng laman ng kanyang wallet na
mahigit 1000 riyals. Ng medyo may dumadating sa may hagdanan na papasok sa
bahay, medyo napukaw at nagmamadali silang umalis pero, bago iyon
nagbangit ang isa na babalik sila na hihingi ng pera buwan buwan kung hindi
makakarating ang video at pictures sa Pulis at Compania ng pinagtatrabahuhan
niya.
Kaya nga mga kababayan kung meron kayong naranasan
o may nagkuento ng Ganitong ganito, ay ipakalat agad sa email at
para mapag ingat pa ang ating Ibang kababayan at isa pa para mahuli
